Making my Dua

The way( sunnah)of making dua by prophet (PB UH) is to raise hands, glorify and Praise Allah in the beginning and at the end, Sending salutation for the prophet in the beginning and at the end and cry in making Dua. Several ways of making Dua have been described in books. The best book i have read is by Yassir Qadhi, "Dua: The weapon of the Believer". I have learnt a lot about the nature of the relationship with Allah from this book. Everyone should try to read this book in lifetime . About making dua, my mom used to tell me to ask Allah for forgiveness for all the Muslims in the world, then for myself. I have made my own steps of making my own Dua, thought i would share. My opening of the Munajat is saying "Alhamdulliahi Rabbil Alamin, assalatu waassalamu ala rasulul karim", darood sharif, "Rabbana Atina fiddunia...., dua for parents, my duas to Allah, Ayat-ul -Kursi, Again Darood sharif, i end with "Rabbana Taqabbal minna innaka antas samee'ul Ale em"(2:127) meaning is .....our lord! accept from us this service, verily you alone are the All-hearing, All-knowing. This gives me a sense of guarantee that i am conversing with the one who all hears, and i am heard.
