Qualities of Satan!

According to the Holly Quran Satan is our clear enemy. So i think we should learn some qualities of him even though we are aware of negative ones. i believe if we look into some positive qualities of Satan, then we will be able to understand it's not the quality ,after all, matters, its our intentions to use them for better purposes in this world and the hereafter. Below are some those i can come up with and also many i have read from books and articles in the websites.
  • 1) Satan is very patient in achieving his mission of misguiding humanity. He waits for every chances to deceit.
  • 2) Satan is a believer of Allah( SWT), his power and the day of Judgment. With his  best worship for Allah even before he was tested proves that he believes in the oneness of the creator. And also he knew only Allah can grant him what he wanted, as the story of the Adam and Eve goes, at the time of departing from heaven he requested Allah to grant him power over everything until the day of Judgment. He knows that Allah is the one and only giver and also he believes in the day of Judgment. When Allah (SWT) granted his wish and declare that anyone follows him would be in the hell, it seems the future consequences didn't bother him at all and he seemed to be happy with instant gratification.
  •  3) Satan is Persistent. He doesn't give up very easily to bring people to his way. He keeps finding every possible ways to make false look like truth and truth looks like false.
  •  4)       Satan is an opportunity seeker. He is very smart and tactful planner too. He sees human from every direction that the human don’t see. So he knows how to make his plans work. He aware of our weaknesses and use them as his tools get his mission possible.
  • 5)       Satan is goal-oriented, as he sets his goal and works harder for it. As in the story of Adam (A.S) and Eve (A.S) we have seen that his goal was to make them eat from the forbidden fruit. And he keeps convincing them in saying “truly I am for you a sincere adviser”.
  • 6)       Satan is a Dua-maker, as I have mentioned above he made Dua to Allah for granting him the life until the Day of Judgment as for his purpose of life is to trick human.
  • 7)      Satan knows all the scriptures of Allah so that he can misguides people with that knowledge. In the Holly Quran Allah says he talks about the littlest creatures like mosquitoes and flies and Allah( SWT) doesn’t feel shy to talk about it, and our lord also declares that with these signs he guides some and misguides others. Now the question is how do the people is misguided? Of course with the whispers of Satan that led these people of ancient time to argue with prophets.
  • 8)      Satan also got his free will as human. He chose his path of conduct for bad purposes.
  • 9)      Satan is a power-seeker and very competitive. The more human wants to get better and away from his path, the more he gets agitated. And seeks out those who are really working hard to rise in higher spiritual ranks.
  • 10)       Satan is very optimistic in a wrong way though. He even finds the good in the bad, and don’t leave it behind. He extracts the worst out of the bad.
  •
  • 11)      Satan is emotional. He didn’t like the idea of underestimating him ( which is apparently a test of Allah) in front of all the angels who were created with lights and Adam with clay. After all, he is made from fire!
